Stone Barns

I visited Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture for the first time over the weekend. There were pigs, sheep, chickens, turkeys and cows to look at.  But, mostly, I was struck by the gorgeous flowers in the Garden.  I’ve found that flowers pop even more vibrantly on rainy, dreary days.

I only recently learned that the cone flower is the same as echinacea

I was struck by the color of these lilies

Rain makes chard even more striking

Love this color combination
